'A Friend in Need'

For our Year 1 module, 'Basic Video Production', we learnt how to use basic camera and sound equipment. After familiarising ourselves with the equipment and experimenting it once or twice, we had to plan a shot list based on a script given and shoot it based on our own interpretation. In our small groups of 4, this is where we actually got to experiment how it was like using equipment to film something. Since this was one of our very first attempts using equipment to film and create a video, it did not have the best outcome, but we sure did learn alot from this experience.

'The Disposal System'

For the next assignment, it was similar to the previous one, just that we had a more tighter timeline and also had to incoporate the use of lights. We made a schedule for our planning and filming process, went to location recce, made a shotlist and blocking plan.
